Women's Retreat
Topics

1. Faith Through the Fire

Walking through the fire and still having faith on the other side. This topic includes Paulie’s  personal testimony and how painful the fire can be, but how it has helped to establish and confirm her faith in Jesus. She encourages the women to not dwell in a hurting place, but to seek healing.  This session includes ministry and prayer time for those who are going through the fire now. Isaiah 43:2; 1 Peter 5, Job.

2. Empty Me, Lord,

So I Can Worship You
Paulie’s CD, Light of Your Love, is a collection of simple Scripturally-based worship songs she has written. Worship  through music can help lift us from our every day circumstances, to a place of communion with Him. In this session, Paulie introduces quotes from spiritual people of God, to help us realize the freeing place we can abide, when we come away from everyday pressures, to worship God. She also shares her experiences of personal retreats, to rest and hear God's still small voice. She welcomes an opportunity to lead worship while the leader of the group (or pastor) conducts a  candlelight communion service at the close of the session. This allows a time of quiet reflection on God's greatness.

3. Changing Seasons

Caterpillars to butterflies. Seasons come and go, ready or not. Sometimes we are ready for change and other times we’re surprised and even devastated by life’s sudden “left turns.” This session explores spiritual and emotional seasons of our lives.  This session is a look at what the Scripture says about how we're to live. We've been healed, we worship God, but then what?
